Front desk is at Chalet Kilauea Hotel and opens from 9am-11:30am and 1:30pm-5pm. For guests who book rooms at Lokahi Lodge (about 2 miles from front desk) and Volcano Hale (about 1 miles from front desk),they will need to check in at the Hotel. If guests arrive after 5pm, the staff will prepare a letter package next to the front office door in a clear envelope holder with guests' last name on it. Inside the envelope, guests will find instructions and all the materials they need to find their rooms.But they will have to register offcially the next morning at the front desk.（Reminder valid 2019-07-30 until 2025-12-31 ）
